OUR CULTURE

Workplace Environment

Designated a Great Place to Work for seven years running!

Our business is made up of talented people that are driven by the same values as our Members and customers and we work hard to protect their interests. The loyalty of our employees, management and board of directors has led to a truly collaborative approach. Our progress on a day-to-day basis is measured and recognised by Great Place to Work (GPTW) where we ranked 21 out of 40 in Ireland’s Best Medium Workplaces in 2023.

We have a strong focus on workplace development to attract and retain the best talent in the market and we actively promote and encourage an environment of inclusivity, development, and wellbeing through our workplace practices.

By joining IPB you will be part of a team that has a strong commitment to two-way communication, engagement, and celebration. Throughout the year we hold quarterly Town Halls, monthly coffee clubs and various themed awareness programmes that keep you informed about things you need to know!  We value employees’ thoughts and ideas and consistently seek feedback, encourage employees to make suggestions, share their ideas, ways of thinking and to become involved in making decisions that affect their role and environment.

Social Environment

IPB has a vibrant Sports and Social Club, and its purpose is to provide a fun and social outlet for all employees. It’s a great way to get to know people from across the Company and to try new things. The Sports and Social Club arranges a wide array of events and activities to suit everyone’s interests with an emphasis on getting to know each other in a fun environment. Activities include golf, football, theatre nights, wine tasting, yoga, cookery classes, quizzes and much more.

Health & Wellbeing at IPB

Our aim is to create a healthy work environment where employees feel supported and valued. We are committed to taking a proactive approach to health & wellbeing and regularly review our approach in line with internal and external developments that can impact employees’ wellbeing.

With a focus on a holistic approach to wellbeing, we know that looking after your physical health is vital and we also place a strong emphasis on the psychological components of our wellbeing, offering information and interactive sessions and programmes covering mental and spiritual wellbeing, financial management, peer support and other topics that support social connections and resilience.
